Family Practice Associates has been continuously serving generations of Wilmington and New Castle County families since 1941.

Family Practice Associates has been fully operation on electronic health records (EHR) since 2006.  The use of EHR enables our physicians to have access to all of your health information any time and helps to provide patient safety and quality of care.

Family Practice Associates is among a very select group of Delaware practices that have been awarded a commendation for outstanding care of patients with diabetes from Quality Insights of Delaware (QID), the quality improvement organization charged by Medicare to help improve the quality of care for seniors. We have also been awarded recognition of our very high level of care for patients with heart failure. We are pleased to be recognized for our efforts on our patients' behalf. The commendations from QID are proudly displayed in our lobby.

Family Practice Associates has been awarded the prestigious Diabetes Provider Recognition Award from the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) and the American Diabetes Association (ADA).   The program recognizes physicians who deliver quality diabetes care in the areas including eye exams, blood pressure testing, nutrition therapy and patient satisfaction, among others. When patients with diabetes receive quality care they are less likely to suffer complications such as heart attacks, stroke, blindness, kidney disease and amputations.
