Dr. Gbemudu is a native New Jerseyian who graduated from Princeton University in 1990 with a degree in Biological Sciences: Evolution and Ecology. Subsequently, she also received a Master's Degree from Minnesota State University at Mankato in 1991 in Exercise Physiology.

Dr. Gbemudu is a graduate of the Christiana Care Health Services Family Medicine Program. A graduate of Thomas Jefferson University Medical College in 1996. Dr. Gbemudu is affiliated with Christiana Care, St. Francis Hospital, and A.I. DuPont Childrens Hospital.
